Dear GAZM,
I want y’all to know that all of your releases have brought so much joy to my life and others around the world. Having met y’all, I can honestly say that you’re awesome human beings and your passion for life comes through in GAZM’s music. I can’t front, part of me is sad that y’all are calling it quits, but the other part of me is happy that I got to experience your music live! I want to use this time and space to celebrate GAZM. Check this rad film of their last show “THE FINAL RIDE” that took place on March 8th in Montreal. The love that their community is so evident in this film that it comes out of the screen. I have compiled almost everything I have ever written about GAZM and y’all better know that we have nothing but LOVE for y’all! In the legendary words of GAZM, Fuck You!

This Friday, shit is about to change because GAZM’s debut album Heavy Vibe Music is being released via 11PM Records. Unholy awesomeness, I have been waiting forever for this band to put out their full length, and all I can say is that it is so worth the wait! Every song on this record is a raging Hardcore Banger that has the furious riffs to hang with mad metal bands! The vocals are such a call to arms that I scream “YES!!” at my computer screen. Is GAZM’s Heavy Vibe Music the best hardcore record of 2019? Only time will tell, but if I had to answer today, the answer would be YES!!

GAZM Fuck You II
Ahh Shit, one of my favorite bands of all time just dropped a surprise EP called Fuck You II. WTF y’all GAZM is back and sounds gnarlier than ever and is just what I needed in my life right about NOW! From the very 1st song, “Secret Truth,” y’all will realize that this band is on a mission to bite the faces off of those who oppress us! SD snarls are in top fucking form and the whole GAZM is unified to totally wreck shop! On tracks like “Rabbit on Me,” the band manifests pits of dirge to sink your eardrums into. Yo, if anyone from the band is reading, y’all fucking killed it with this one and I can’t wait until y’all’s new full-length.
GAZM – PSYKOSOCIETY
I FUCKING LOVE HARDCORE PUNK and have for many decades. I don’t see myself not digging this type of music anytime soon, because when it’s done right, it becomes a part of my core! Case in point is MONTREAL’s GAZM. Damn, this FUCKING band RULES on so many levels and I can listen to their 7 inch MENACE TO THA EARTH on repeat all day, every day. Their homie Hugo Bernier just created a new video for them for their new anthem “PSYKOSOCIETY,” and we get to premiere it!!! I dig this visual for its honest humor, plus the song kicks ass. The song will be on an upcoming split via Byllepest Distro called Infection 1 – Worldwide Hardcore Attack. On the real, support GAZM because they create rad punk music for punks…plus some of them have tagging skills, which I will cover on a later date. Right now, awesome recognize awesome – check out the brand new GAZM video for “PSYKOSOCIETY.”
