Sometimes it feels like the human world is a universe of its own and I’ve dropped out of it. And as I listen to the new single from PLAYGROUNDED, “Tomorrow’s Rainbow,” it’s like they’ve captured the manic electronic pulse of society, and layered it with guitars and percussion that express the pain and anger of wanting something different. They’ve captured the beauty of sameness and repetition while sonically tearing it all down and exposing the destruction and genocide behind the captivating, encapsulating patterns. And above all this song is epic and emotive…it’s off their new album The Death of Death that comes out on March 18th via Pelagic Records — get it here or stream it here. Today we’re happy to be sharing the video for “Tomorrow’s Rainbow” with you, so step outside of the distracting cyclone of nonreality and watch it.
