Unholy Hell Fucking YEAH, the new SIMULAKRA album Reincarnation out now on DAZE is one of my favorite Hardcore Records of 2024! Damn, the songs you will encounter on this offering are mixed to perfection and sound HUGE AF! I’m impressed by how this unit has come together to unleash this sonic beast on the world! At certain times while listening to this record, I feel like my speakers are going to burst! If you don’t believe me, just blast their song “Sanctify” so y’all can hear it for yourself. I can’t front and say that my mental health has been on point because of what’s happening in Gaza. But I will say that blasting songs like “Burning Soul” is a good outlet for my inner turmoil! Real talk, this band is on a mission and I’m so into what they are creating! SIMULAKRA’s hardcore anthems are thick with rage and razor-sharp. They are skilled at balancing all of their influences into a sound that is all theirs! I got to see them live a couple of years ago at JAG, and became a fan instantly. I want to say good looking out to SIMULAKRA for creating Hardcore that is good for my mental health and that makes me want to decapitate the IDF! It should be noted that while bumpin Reincarnation y’all will experience some of the gnarliest breakdowns in Hardcore!
