Darkwave

Hear the mesmerizing Darkwave of LORELEI K “Take The Blame”

LORELEI K has a voice that mesmerizes me. Her sultry tones bring to mind a pre-war jazz diva singing over dark, brooding, ethereal post-punk. There’s a depth of emotion to the sounds she creates that makes her music a portal to unacknowledged feelings and buried thoughts. As I listen to her track “Take The Blame,” I feel as if I could immerse myself in the memories I’d normally want to forget and find a path to forgiveness. Lorelei K is the guiding light I can follow through the murk and muck of life, and her voice is the one calling to me from my dreams. This magical song is off her The Mythic Girl EP that comes out this Friday, March 12th – you can pre-save it here. Right now, let her drench your psyche in sonic tears with our stream of “Take the Blame.”

I always say I’m a poet first, and these songs are no exception, being excessively wordy and consciously melodramatic
