Sink Into the Smooth Zoom Gaze of GLAZYHAZE “Ecstasy of The Weak (6 ytra remix)”

It’s time to wash away everything that’s been fogging up your mind and pinning down your soul in the smooth flow of Glazyhaze. To celebrate one year since the release of their debut album Just Fade Away, Glazyhaze had 6ytra remix their magical track “Ecstasy of The Weak” off the record (which you can pick up on vinyl here). Their immersive audio energy will give your sadness a place to rest and your joy a place to thrive. Check out our premiere of their video for “Ecstasy of The Weak (6 ytra remix)” right here, and stream it on Spotify here.

‘Ecstasy of the Weak’ is the eighth track on the album, a song characterized by a seemingly calm and dark mood, rearranged by 6 ytra and the band into a more explosive track, that blends walls of shoegaze guitars with electronic music and uk-beat creating a zoom-gaze remix, which definitively closes the cycle of Just Fade Away, whose new exclusive cassette edition, also containing the new remix, is on presale now on bandcamp.

The video for the remix of ‘Ecstasy of the Weak’ was recorded by Irene Moretuzzo and edited by Francesco Giacomin and sums up the dark, rarefied atmosphere of the song through Irene’s tragic, resigned movements and dreamy, dragging effects and the use of colors and grain.

Glazyhaze’s dreamy shoegaze feels like it’s wrapping its fuzzy arms around me and coaxing me into a welcome numbness, where I don’t have to see the contradictions and juxtapositions of normal.
