Moe (pronounced “Moy”) said of Call From The Grave III “I was inspired by Coil’s ‘Time Machines’ at this time. The picture in the cover art was taken on a hidden island called Okunojima in Japan, where stood a poison gas factory during WWII. The island was removed from the map until the end of the war.”
“I always take pictures in places associated with death. Many workers in Okunojima were killed because of a mustard gas leak and in the picture I’m stood on the remains of the gas storage tank. I was inspired by Coil and Skullflower, and added the image of death.” …MOE
