Drawing from influences like Black Angels to MBV, the band is an eclectic mix that strives to invent mind-twisting modern psych rock that demands attention. Formed in 2019, the band started as a psych / shoegaze project and released debut ‘No Reflections’ recorded in Bradford amid the looming pandemic. They followed up their second EP, ‘Yesteryear’, recorded at Dystopia Studios in Glasgow in 2022. Now Floating Heads release their 3rd EP CRAWL recorded with Fuzzface maestro Jason Shaw in April 24. This is FH most accomplished record to date, showcasing their love of metallic drone tinged psych. The Heads completely lost themselves during the recording process and came out the other side with some of the best modern psychedelia you will hear this year. The band will be hitting the road this summer at venues across the UK, including the legendary Kozfest.
