Mind-expanding, mind-altering, reality-shifting, and otherworldly are just some of the words that come to mind as I plug myself into the new SOLAR TEMPLE album A Gift That Should Have Been Reserved for the Great Lights that comes out on June 28th, via Consouling Sounds. This band has created a record that is free of all boundaries and has manifested a collection of songs that shape-shift into something new with each listen. I give SOLAR TEMPLE so much respect because they are truly following their passion. As I listen to “Celestial Kingdom,” I can’t help but think about how beautiful it would be to live inside the mind of Sun Ra.
