I write this from a place of love for our turf. I write this to honor our SoCal Punk – Death Rock ancestors. I write this from a place of love for the sleazy underbelly of Hollywood and all of L.A. I write this from a place of hate for the warmongers that rule our fucked up world! I write this from a place of hate for the LAPD! I write this from a place of hate for the IDF and all that support them! I got to tell y’all that I fucking love the new Pā.āIā.āG. – People Infected by Greed record that is out now on 1753 because it represents my worldview without holding anything back! I can’t tell you why, but there is something about bands from LA when it comes to weaving in the sonic cobwebs of Death Rock into their sounds. That being said, P.I.G. is raw AF and is more than just one genre! If this band did exist in the 80s when I was a youth, I could see them sharing the bill with Iconoclast – 45 Grave – Castration Squad – Legal Weapon and Dr. Know. Within every dirge-filled anthem that this band creates, I can smell the filth of L.A. and I realize that this band can’t be fucked with. The maniacal track “The Lying Judge” closes out People Infected by Greed and it makes me want to burn corruption to the ground!
