Much is made of Japan’s comic book erotica, but only recently did I find out about Mexico’s rich history of comic porn in the form of sensacionales. Sensacionales are cheap thrills that are sold for a few pesos at the majority of Mexican newsstands. While I found a lot of different titles that were…interesting…because we’re CVLT Nation, I was immediately drawn to the more dark and horror-oriented series, like the one I’m featuring today, El Libro Siniestro. This one has comics, sex and horror in the perfect combination of hot and disturbing. Brujerias who practice their dark magic while nude; mad scientists dissecting hot blondes; Satan taking a nun from behind (sorry – I couldn’t find a good version of that one for the post, but it exists, and it’s awesome). It’s everything I love in pulp erotic comic book art.
