We’re living at a strange time, one that we definitely won’t understand the consequences of for generations. Billionaires are driving an automation revolution behind the scenes that many of us are unaware of. One day we’ll all be confronted with the fact that robots have actually taken over our world. And when they do, will they write songs about love and fear like SILURIAN do? Composer Chris Hector (AHAB) and vocalist Emilia Sherman take their inspiration from shoegaze, new wave, and dream pop, and simply call their music “gloom.” TO me it sounds like music that comes from a new light burning inside a cold body.
