Full EP Premiere: CROOKED MOUTH ‘Forget Not’

Cascadian neofolk artist Crooked Mouth has a new EP set to release on the equinox, Sept. 22nd, and it’s his testament to staying sane in the pressure and chaos of the urban environment. Ian Campbell, aka Crooked Mouth, recruited the talents of members of Vancouver’s esoteric music collective The Covenant to back him in this collection of haunting and beautiful sonic journeys known as Forget Not, including members of Garrotting Deep, Auroch and Night Profound. Forget Not translates from the latin motto of the Campbell clan, Ne Obliviscaris, and demonstrates Campbell’s intention of keeping an eye to the past in order to navigate the present. Today we’re honored to bring you a stream of the full EP below – pre-order Forget Not on the Crooked Mouth bandcamp.

Meghan MacRae grew up in Vancouver, Canada, but spent many years living in the remote woods. Living in the shadow of grizzly bears, cougars and the other predators of the wilderness taught her about the dark side of nature, and taught her to accept her place in nature's order as their prey. She is co-founder of CVLT Nation.
