Most of the time I spend listening to music lately is while I’m working at home. It’s nice because I tend to utilize it as a means of meditation on the subject matter at hand. Doom and similar forms of aggressive music are wonderful in that they invoke the same feelings in me that I want my art to invoke in others. Occultism, esoteric thought, sexuality, nature, and sonic conversations on mental/emotional health penetrate my art as an extension of myself, and the media I consume is no different. The tracks collected here kind of act as a “subject matter greatest hits”, and I hope they give a little bit of insight into what kind of creative environment I thrive in.
