We’re living at a time none of us will forget. I’ve been reflecting on how the people I’ve lost in recent years are actually the lucky ones to have left the planet before the angry pimple that is humanity really came to a head. Whoever’s around now are either going to be the ones lancing it, the ones floating away in the draining pus, or the ones healing the cavernous wound it leaves behind. You choose. That’s where CROWN VIC’s vile and aggressive metallic hardcore has my mind going – it’s got me ready to ride the waves of change and cut some copfuckers if need be. I’m inspired by this sickening music video by Trish Lee for their song “Stir Crazy” that we’re premiering today – watch it and see if it gets your blood boiling or if it turns it to ice. The track is part of a 2-song EP entitled Quarantine Demonstration EP coming out on hard copy this year via Malaysian label Hostile Records (plus you can listen to the digital version below). Right now, hit play on “Stir Crazy” and tell me this isn’t the perfect soundtrack to the past few months!
spoiling like a cadaver
my body rots in the sunlight
no love from god
who has left them all like this
plagued by earth and all that’s left
no love
stripped of all I feel
staring in circles
feet in dragging the floor
hung from the ceiling
Lyrics by Lane Hughes and Kai Sikio
