Blackout tattoos seem to be the new answer to all those years of accumulated tattoos that just don’t do it for you anymore. Easier than a traditional coverup, and they look better than the faded mess you gave yourself at age 16 with ballpoint pen ink. You can find a ton of examples of mottled, unattractive black blobs out there on the social web, but then there are artists like @oddtattooer, whose blackout work is an art unto itself and not just an easy coverup. Based at Oracle Tattoo in Singapore, Chester takes blackout work to a higher level of artistry, with clean lines, perfectly even coverage and stunning framing.
