Enter the Angular Blackened Post-Punk Mind of EGO “My Friends / Moji Prijatelji”

As soon as I hit play on EGO’s video for “My Friends / Moji Prijatelji,” I was sucked into the angular blackened post-punk world they’ve created! This Berlin band somehow takes crushingly heavy beats and basslines and makes them fly like the most effervescent of post punk songs. The sharp hum of their riffs and caustic vocals round out an enjoyable punk beating on my eardrums! It’s off their new record GROB that’s out digitally now, and you can pre-order the vinyl via Agipunk — get it here. The whole record is so rad, I can’t stop listening to it! Make sure you check it out in full below, and watch the strange and disturbing video for “My Friends / Moji Prijatelji”!

“My friends” explores the darkest alley of a Tormented Generation, dissolving the line between the fiction, the mind and the reality; The carnage of war & his true face.
