Not sure when or how MALEFIC LEVITATION came to be exactly, but goddamn, their music is unholy fucking destruction. This duo from Fresno, CA, came out of nowhere, got picked up by Sentient Ruin for the US and Dawnbreed Records in the EU, and are now about to unleash on us their harrowing debut tape titled The Ancient Plague – twenty minutes of inconceivably deranged and fucking barbaric black/death metal that will delight all fans of other pestilent and ignorant as fuck war metal bands like Revenge, Diocletian, Archgoat etc. The Ancient Plague is being released on tape in two different colors in the US by Sentient Ruin (pre-order cassettes on their store and or Bandcamp), and in the EU by Dawnbreed Records (pre-order) and today we’re stoked to bring you a first glimpse into this sonic holocaust of theirs through the track “Savage Hunter” streaming below.
