Calling all MOTÖPUNKS: 10 Bands that Worship at the Altar of MOTÖRHEAD!

I say this with conviction: MOTÖRHEAD was one of the greatest bands to ever do it!!! Loads of bands have taken the sound of DISCHARGE and created sick D-Beat as a form of homage to this seminal band, while others have looked to the filthy rocking riffs of MOTÖRHEAD for inspiration to create their own genre of MOTÖPUNK! I can’t get enough of bands that have looked to the Ace of Spades warriors for their sonic rage. On a personal level, the first band I ever heard or saw that was influenced by Lemmy and crew was Venice’s Beowulf; then came No Mercy from the same hood. Today we want to get the party started and salute 10 bands that have waved the flags of MOTÖRHEAD worship high! CVLT Nation salutes all MOTÖPUNKS – let’s head bang to our graves!
