Being an LA native means a lot of things. One of those things is witnessing how DTLA looks very different than when I was a teenager. Downtown always had a sense of lawlessness to it. But now it’s filled with many people who are treated like they are human garbage and looked down on by the yuppies that co-exist in the same neighborhood with them. I have old friends who have become homeless and addicted to drugs down there. Xylazine, the ‘flesh-eating’ drug, aka tranq, is reportedly turning people into zombies in Downtown LA. This mini-documentary shows the human toll of this horrible drug!
I spent 48 hours in skid row speaking to addicts and the homeless about the their lives today in modern America. Los Angeles has really lost it’s grip with drugs and homelessness. I interview the locals to get a real insight into the situation here at skid row. The flesh eating drug is destroying America, taking over L.A, Seattle, Portland & Kensington Avenue in Philadephia. Tranq is taking over America.
