Witness the Psychedelic Noise Rock Experience That is NECKBOLT “…over the lake”

There’s something psychotically jarring about mainstream pop music to me. The tinny melodies and soulless beats leave me feeling like I’ve been sucked into a cultural void where money is sound and sound is money.

But when I put on the new record from Neckbolt, midwestern drawl, I remember that I live in a parallel universe where creativity reigns supreme! The strange and disorienting Psychedelic Noise Rock they create is welcome sonic chaos that travels down my every synapse setting off my weird receptors.

They recently recorded a full set of their new album at The Museum of Human Achievement in Austin, TX, and today we’re stoked to be sharing their track “…over the lake” with you other weird music aficionados. midwestern drawl comes out on November 5th, and you can pre-order it here, get the VHS version of live! at the museum of human achievement here, and get cassettes via Digital Hotdogs.

Right now, forget that there’s anything normal about this world and step into the electrifying soundscape of Neckbolt’s “…over the lake” below.
