No offence to any other state, but Texas has been extremely consistent for the past decade when it comes to awesome bands. Especially in the shoegaze genre, where they’ve definitely taken the lead and every other month I’m hearing something new and genre-defining. Case in point is Austin’s PORCELAIN, whose Post-Hardcore Shoegaze has me floating in a captivating audio maelstrom of dissonant, fuzzy riffs, thick basslines, and crashing percussion. Today we’re lucky to be premiering their new single “World I Know” — an emotionally massive and cathartic track off their upcoming record, with tones I can feel traveling down my spine.
