COLLAPSING SCENERY have a sound that is hard to describe… shoegaze that got drunk and dropped acid is the first descriptor that comes to mind. It’s simultaneously perfectly planned and totally improvised – chaotic sounds that align themselves with one another to create absolute harmony. I don’t know if that makes sense to you, but to me this sounds like my concrete summer soundtrack. Lucky for me, their debut LP Stress Positions is about to drop on June 28 via Metropolitan Indian Records, so I can open my front door and share Collapsing Scenery with the whole neighborhood! Today we’re happy to be bringing you the premiere of their music video for “All the Way Alive,” a glorious presentation of Los Angeles the way you live it rather than the way you see it on TV. It’s directed by band member Don DeVore (of 90s HC band Ink & Dagger). You can pre-order Stress Positions on your favorite streaming app right here and pre-order the vinyl here. Right now, hit play on Stress Positions and feel the concrete wash over you!
