I write this for those that don’t have a voice. I write this from a place of disgust for the LAPD. I write this from knowing that we all go through shit on the daily. I write this from a place of knowing that the world as we know it is no more and never was. I write this from a place knowing that the Brown and Black humans of LA are at the foundation of that city’s culture. I write this from a place of knowing that the SoCal Hardcore band A.N.T.I. is un-fucking -real. Their lastest release All Negative Thoughts Inside is all fucking that and slaps harder than a physical beatdown! This band has something to say and I’m totally hear for it! What impresses me about this almost 5 minute burst of FERAL SONIC RAGE is how they are able to harness the thick anger of Hardcore with the caustic melody of Hardcore Punk. As I blast A.N.T.I., I’m reminded that SoCal is not all Palm Trees and Sunshine โ there is an underbelly to this city that might not always be seen. Those that know, know that navigating the city of lost angels can be tricky and you need loyal homies! I want you to blast “Possessed” so that you can experience the radness of this band for yourself (the breakdown in this tune is NEXT LEVEL). Hey A.N.T.I. โ if y’all read this, just know that we are pro All Negative Thoughts Inside.
