There’s a beautiful release to be found in the swirling darkness of post-metal; its like super fine sandpaper wearing down your emotional walls and allowing your inner self to breathe freely for a fleeting moment. Maybe that sounds dramatic, but that’s what post-metal feels like to me – it’s dramatic, epic and driving. Portugal’s ULFBERTH shares these qualities, and their new record The Process of Clarity, coming out November 15th, feels like it’s taking a crowbar to my chest, prying my pain out of me. Today we’re excited to be sharing their video for the title track, a gorgeous multi-layered visual that only adds to the sonic drama.
