A Tribute To Genesis Breyer P-Orridge

I have long been a fan ov Industrial pioneers Throbbing Gristle and Psychic TV, who in part inspired me to start my own label, and a lot ov thee artists on it. So I was sad to hear that TG and Psychic TV founder, wrecker ov civilization and anti pope ov Thee Temple Ov Psychic Youth Genesis P Orridge had recently been diagnosed with Leukemia.

Thee good folks at French/Spanish label, Unknown Pleasures Records, decided to get together a compilation ov Throbbing Gristle covers to help with Genesis’s medical bills. Living in New York with no income apart from their music, art and tours and with no insurance, Genesis is fighting to pay their medical bills, as well as fight leukemia. Thee comp has some banging covers – go and check them out and help a true innovator.

Thee Unknown Pleasures comp comes in 2 different versions. A physical CD and a digital comp with different artists.

Thee CD features artists such as Peaches, Horrorist, Esplendor Geometrico and more. Which you can order HERE.

The digital version is available HERE

All proceeds from the CD and all digital sales are sent directly to Genesis towards his medical bills.
