I tend to spend more time listening to music than researching it thoroughly. I know — that’s blasphemy considering I co-run a music website. But so much of the music I cover is brand new and I don’t want to critique it by making a lot of historical comparisons. And while I carry a bit of history in my brain, I leave most of that burden of knowledge to Sean, who’s literally a walking music encyclopedia. But lately, I’ve been listening to TRASH THEORY, and it’s helping me catch up a bit with Sean’s inexhaustible musical knowledge.
