The Brvtalist is proud to present a new mix from Heidi Sabertooth. Since 2012, the New York City-based singer, multi-instrumentalist, DJ and producer has cemented herself in the city’s community and beyond and has become known for her live hardware performances and vinyl heavy DJ sets. Her unique brand of electronics focuses on gritty drum loops, vintage acid and unruly sounds. Her entry to our series perfectly showcases this as she moves from raw industrial, pulse pounding techno and infectious experimentations.
With standout release on labels like Lobster Theramin, Lost Soul Enterprises, New York Haunted and more, Sabertooth starts the new decade with a huge EP on Ellen Alien’s UFO imprint. With The Void is four tracks of fast, improv techno that showcases the artist’s love for vintage hardware. Playing her machines like instruments, Sabertooth unleashes floor destroyers that are ready for this world or any other.
