I’ve heard that no matter how much money one accumulates, it’s never enough to fill the gaping hole in your soul. In fact, the more money becomes the goal in life, the bigger the hole gets, and you need things like spaceships and $325 ice cubes to make you feel like you’re accomplishing things in life. I can’t help but think about the mindstate it takes to put a family’s grocery bill into one drink when I’m listening to the ironically uplifting new single from NORMANS, “Murder Rich.” That’s a lot of arrogance and ignorance. This song is fast garage punk with a classic rock punch, and it’s addictively upbeat and danceably dire at the same time. It’s off their debut s/t record that’s out via Solid Brass Records on January 12th — pre-order vinyl here. Watch our premiere of “Murder Rich” and heed their greedy warning…
“You’re a car going over the cliff. You’re going to lose, so just move…”
