Revisit BLACK SABBATH: The CVLT Nation Sessions…oVER 4 hOURS OF doom!

Seven years ago we had the idea of reworking seminal albums from different genres from Post Punk to Industrial to Hardcore to Death Metal to Sludge to DOOM. We named this series The CVLT Nation Sessions, and as it stands, we’re 20 comps deep and counting. Over the course of the years, we’ve done the first four Black Sabbath albums, and to some people, these are the only four that matter! I’ve got to say, so many of the bands have taken these Sabbath songs to higher heights! Here’s a fun fact: GRAVES AT SEA’s version of “Lord of This World” was the first song that they had recorded in years. Then there’s DRUG CULT‘s version of “Changes” — every time I play it, I get chills. Today I want to celebrate all of the bands that have taken part in this series and I want to salute Black Sabbath for laying down the blueprint! Now I want to know — what song do you think slaps the hardest?
