Studs, Drugs and Blood… Punk Painter John John Jesse

Former NAUSEA member John John Jesse’s  paintings are like punk pinups. He takes the classic pinup sexiness and throws in studs, drugs and blood, and the result is amazing. There is so much to absorb in each painting; each stroke of his brush brings texture leaping off the canvas. His subjects are lovingly rendered in all their rebellious glory, FTW and free love. Check out a gallery of his work below…you can buy his work direct from him ( punkpigpen@gmail.com ) in NYC, and follow him on Tumblr here.

Wow, how exclusive of you. What about trans? And wheelchair people? And space aliens? Did you even consider ghost representation? Come on it’s 2016.
