NETHERLANDS makes music that makes me feel like I’ve been sucked into a wormhole lined with chainsaws. I’ve never experienced their live show but I can only imagine how deliciously harrowing their buzzing tones, crushing percussion, and guttural riffs would feel like in my physical body. From the looks of it, it would be beyond amazing! Their record Kali Corvette is out now via Three One G — get it here. Today we’re stoked to be sharing their full set from their record release show on November 9th, 2022, at St. Vitus Bar in NYC—so sit back and experience the psychedelic melodic sludge of “Live at St. Vitus” with us!
We decided to go “full live album/ DVD” for the last show of our east coast tour, our homecoming/ Kali Corvette record release show, at our beloved hometown club St. Vitus. The first act features songs from Kali being played (relatively) for some of the first times, and the rest of the show unfolds in a typically dynamic way, featuring songs from all of our albums.

This video was produced with the following team of all-stars; our longtime collaborator B.A. Miale created the gorgeous/ immersive live video accompaniment, Emmett Ceglia (Semaphore, Husbandry) recorded the audio, Mario Quintero (Spotlights) mixed and mastered the audio, Michael Dimmitt (Overdose, Moral Panic) shot the video, and Chris Carlone (Borts Minorts) edited the video. Also, the day after the show I reached out to around 10 people who’d posted clips on IG and incorporated all of their “fan” videos too, which really made the whole thing way better. rad!
Overall, IMO this video captures/ conveys the sonic impact and emotional and visual intensity of our show as much as is even possible.
