Ferocious Italian Hardcore Punk Premiere Streaming: STORM{O} ‘Ere’

From the sullen lands nestled in the mountains of Northeast Italy, STORM{O} are back with a new album. ERE, out on February 2, 2018, via Moment of Collapse Records, is an introspective record that reflects the maturation of a band that never ceases to astonish, without betraying its roots in the Italian hardcore/punk scene. This album is a furious cross section of everyday life told with an audacious, pained rage. The lyrics are the hardest-hitting element of STORM{O}’s work and reveal, as they sing again in their native language, a disarming sincerity. With a unique approach and a penetrating sound that combines the fury and speed of old-school hardcore with the gloomiest melodies of post-hardcore, this band again manages to surprise us with its immense skill. STORM{O} are one of the greatest bands in Italy these days and ERE is a gem that immediately takes its place among the best Italian albums of 2018.
