Fall into the Spiraling Post-Rock Universe of LOTUS THRONES “Oh Marauder”

As I’m watching the new video for LOTUS THRONES‘ new single “Oh Marauder,” I’m struck by the way the visuals convey their expansive sound. This blend of shoegaze through the lens of post-rock feels like it’s spiraling endlessly, like everything in our universe. The track features Jeff Wilson of Chrome Waves, who’s a collaborator on Lotus Throne’s new Vernal EP that’s coming out June 24th via Seeing Red Records and you can pre-order it here. Check out the video for “Oh Marauder” below and make sure to check out Lotus Thrones on tour with GUHTS and Netherlands starting June 22nd!

Vernal is the 3rd installment in a seasonal EP series inspired by the artwork of Toby Verhines. This one is for springtime, the artwork itself being very female and a representation of creation. This one was meant to feel warm and ethereal to show my love of shoegaze and space rock and a chance to have Jeff Wilson come in and collaborate on songs in a continuation of our robust relationship.
