These otherworldly tales form the inspiration for the surreal and strange photography of Karl Dmitri Bishop. I feel like these images were taken through a rip in time; peering through a gauzey veil into the next universe where supernatural beings reign. His images are layered and complex, the subjects engaged in secret rituals that should be hidden from our eyes. Bishop’s work reveals something sacred, an inner esoteric journey.
