Tania Ordoñez is just getting started. After borrowing some synthesizers and drum machines from friends a few years ago, she’s since hit the ground running with her haunting, dark music approach hovering somewhere in between 80s freestyle and dream pop. Layering hypnotic polyrhythms and atmospheric pads provide the space for listeners to dance and let go. Currently based in Los Angeles, Soltera is slated to play the fabulous Synthecide NYC and coincide with a new EP Todo o Nada Vol. I. In the meantime, she’s hit us with a frantic new music video directed by L. Coats for the trance-inducing single “Me Olvidé.”
