I am a HUGE fan of Jeff Grosso’s “Loveletters to Skateboarding,” but this episode means more to me than any other, because it’s the Venice Beach episode. I have chills just thinking about how a crew of have-nots turned a whole lot of nothing into something! In the 70’s and 80’s, we didn’t skate for any chance at fame, we all did it for the passion. It’s epic how Jeff (R.I.P.) gave shine to Chuck Katz and Josh Klassman, two photographers that came from the turf! Check out this kick ass episode of Jeff Grosso’s “Loveletters to Skateboarding: Venice.” Nuff respect due to Jesse, Julian, Block, Tuma, Kelly and Tim Jackson.
