Hear the brutal death crust of AUTOLITH “Caustic Light”

Matt Wood

Autolith hail from Memphis, TN, but this isn’t your dad’s Memphis music. This is death crust that will decapitate you with the first riff. This is their take on the shadow side of Memphis – “desperation, loss, substance abuse and resilience.” And you can feel it when you hit play on our stream of the title track off their upcoming album Caustic Light. It’s as if you’re laying immobilized on the ground, helplessly watching a dumptruck full of grief slowly tip its contents onto you until you suffocate under its cement-like weight. Hand of Death Records is releasing their new record on March 27th for CD/digital, with cassettes shipping in April – you can pre-order all three here. Right now hit play on our stream of “Caustic Light” and hope that you can survive the onslaught of pain they’re about to hit you with…
