I want to say thank you so so much to FREECELL for manifesting a rad new EP called Subtle Ache of Desire. I would describe this offering as celestial soundscapes that have the power to uplift and heal at the same time. The first track, “Grinder Smile, Gasp, Eyes Rolling,” is an instrumental song that will have your brain cells drifting into an unknown universe. Only to be followed up by the magnificent “Who Bribed My Guide?” — you better make sure you are ready to close your eyes and bliss out until you can’t anymore. I can’t front, the singer of FREECELL has a voice that is truly is beyond amazing! I want this band to know that Subtle Ache of Desire is a 15-minute sonic journey to a place I needed to go, and for that, again I say, Thank you!
