Ural Umbo is the magnetic duo of Reto Mäder (Sum Of R) and Marko Neuman (Dark Buddha Rising), so the strange and wonderful psychedelic world they present in their joint project is understandably captivating. As I’m watching their video for “Dance Of Duality,” the fuzzy electronics begin to dance their way up my spine, burrowing into my brain to whisper sweet poison into my ears. It’s off their forthcoming album Roomer is out via Consouling Sounds on May 21st – pre-order it here. Between the video and the song, Ural Umbo is encouraging me to develop a deeper, and indescribable, understanding of man and machine.
