TRACE AMOUNT is back with a brand new record entitled Endless Render and it’s a fucking MONSTER! It sounds like a cold night in NYC right after a blizzard and the only things roaming the streets are the shadows! “S.U.R.V.I.V.A.L.” was one of the first tracks I wrote for Endless Render, and is one of my favorite off the record. I began writing Endless Render at the beginning of the year, and the songs really took shape early in quarantine, so lyrically this is tied up in all of the distress and uncertainty everyone has suffered during our current administration. Trying to keep any channel of my brain engaged, when it was so easy to be paralyzed with anxiety day after day was truly a struggle and it felt like survival mode for my sanity and creativity.
