I swear every release I’ve heard from TRACE AMOUNT just gets heavier and heavier! His new release, Simulation Fetish 2.0, takes his pummelling industrial noise sound to another abyssal level with remixes from Filmmaker, Orphx, Years of Denial, Threat of Innocence, Insula Iscariot, and Ritualz, as well as instrumental versions all mastered by Kris Lapke (Alberich, Hospital Productions). The three tracks off his 2024 EP Simulation Fetish have been spun into devastating compositions that would have anyone dancing into the AI apocalypse! The crushing static of the beats feels like they’re cramming my senses deep into my bowels in the best way possible. But there are also melodies that crawl across each track like electric pulses traveling through an endless web of inorganic dendrites, lighting up the metallic cyberworld Trace Amount takes my imagination to. Simulation Fetish 2.0 goes live tomorrow, February 26th, via BLEAKHOUSE โ and you can get it on cassette here. Right now, we’re lucky to be sharing it in full with you here:
