Have you ever thought about reshaping the sound of Post Punk or Space Rock? I’m here to tell you that LA’s NUMB.ER has done just that with the release of their new album Regressions out now on the always rad Third Coming Records! Imagine if 45 Grave, Spaceman 3, LOOP, and Killing Joke were trapped in a room together and then decided to start a band the sound just might sound like this insanely sick album! I can’t stress enough how rad this band is because they don’t follow any sonic rules which is why I fucking love them so much! Under their walls of feedback, I can feel all of the sleaze of Hollywood and the broken dreams. NUMB.ER songs are mini-movies that serve up plot twist at every turn and keeps you coming back for more! When y’all hear the big drums on the song “My Friend,” you will realize why I can’t get enough of what this band is laying down! If I had to pick one Goth or Space Rock album to represent LA in the Rad Band Olympics, it would be NUMB.ER. To me, this band makes me feel good to be me because they just don’t give a FUCK! Step into their world of dirge and lose yourself in their reality on tracks like “On Hypocrisy.” LA has something to say and NUMB.ER is saying it louder than hell with Regressions.
