What has the internet done for old school punx from the 80’s? It’s given us a chance to see each in a way that we couldn’t back in the day! In the 80’s, it was all about face to face contact, fanzines and illegal calling cards to stay abreast of what was happening in the global scene. The pictures in zines sucked for the most part because they were xeroxed copies, and we had to search hard to find the new bands that were coming out. Actually, MRR was one thing that helped connect the global community, because they gave us access to punk from all over the world. Fast forward to 2015, and now the internet rules, and has given birth to one my favorite instagrams: HARDCORE Old School, which is full of never before seen photos from the 80’s…have a look below and get lost in a blast from the past!
