As soon as the first riff kicks in, Morieris takes me on an intoxicating psychedelic ride through a misty and smokey landscape. Leath’s vocals weave in and out of the ominous riffs like a sweet purple haze, and the percussion thunders in my ears like my own racing heartbeat. The deeper I get into this record, the more I feel like I’ve stepped into a dimension where only doom reigns, and I keep sinking further into its hallucinogenic scenery. This is a solid follow-up to their debut record Molt, and anyone who loves some sweet, sweet Sabbath worship is going to revel in it.
