Watching this stop-motion video that Convulsif and Manuel Boschung created for the track “Torn From The Stone” reminds me nightmares I’ve felt like I couldn’t escape from. The little figures frantically playing their noisy doom-drone in one strange setting after another, taking a disjointed journey to nowhere – I swear that’s what I do in my twilight mind every night (last night it all centred around slaying vampire stepford soccer moms). This track is highly disorienting like good noise should be, but with a consistent groove that their doom sensibilities bring in.
