London’s Circuit Breaker have returned with their second LP for long running avant punk label Harbinger Sound. Hands Return To Shake is an intriguing mix ov electronics that reminds me ov early cabaret voltaire and the gothic punk ov Killing Joke or Bauhaus. The band is a duo made up ov brothers Edward and Peter Thompson, with Edward handling the electronics and Peter the maudlin vocals and jagged guitar lines. Taking in warp-like electronics, minimal synth, post punk and a dark gothic atmosphere, the duo have come up with a highly individual sound.
