Born to Die! KING DUDE + DER BLUTHARSCH “Black Rider On The Storm”

How many of you reading this are weary of this world? How many of you are tired of the games men play? The games played with our lives because they know we’re born into a world we’re meant to die in, so why not make our deaths serve them? That’s what King Dude + Der Blutharsch and the infinite church of the leading hand’s new video for their track “Black Rider On The Storm” has me thinking. It’s another story of the never-ending wars fought to give one man power over another. We’re told a story that drives us to take up arms and murder in the name of justice when really our lives are just fuel for the war machine. King Dude’s haunting vocals and the expansive sound of Der Blutharsch come together to form a gorgeous, atmospheric, menacing resistance to the horror of war, and of human life, death, and vigilante vengeance.

“Black Rider On The Storm” tells the story of a civil war veteran who must travel far and wide to find the men who murdered his family and burned down his homestead.

“Black Rider On The Storm” is the first video off their collab record, of the same title. It’s out now on digital and CD formats, and the vinyl release via Ván Records is TBD. Check it out below…
