Alf Adrift

Alfredo is a sociologist, researcher, cultural promoter and art activist based in México City.
The basis of his research projects is the frontier between radical and experimental sound and visual art, social movements, resistant culture and politics in urban contexts. Without being his main focus for research, he is also interested in topics such as shamanism, indigenous witchcraft, and nature and mythology from indigenous peoples. He has travelled to remote parts of his country to be in touch with nature and indigenous people in order to document their resistance movements and their way of dealing with their environment through language and symbolism.
He considers himself to be a mind explorer, one who admires the wild and darker side of mind as a potential for creation…

MoE is a three piece band from Oslo, Norway; formed by the composer, double bassist and improviser Guro Skumsness Moe, the experimental guitarist Havard Skaset and the drummer Joakim Heibo.
