Prim has captured a whole era of music and sliced and diced it into a sonic meal I can’t stop eating up! They’ve got thick basslines, sunny percussion, noisy guitars, infectious tambourine, and dreamy vocals laced with a bratty ennui. Their debut LP Move Too Slow is out on September 6th via Sunday Drive — pick up preorders here. The record is a 90s alt rock lover’s dream come true. You can also hear the hardcore punk influence the members share, so while these are songs to sing along to they’ve also got a heavy undertone that’s layered in. This is the kind of music that makes me reminisce about the days when I used to raid my dad’s closet for the most ill fitting scrubby outfits I could find.
