UPCHUCK has a new record coming out and it’s a sizzling punk rock banger called Bite The Hand That Feeds! It comes out October 13th, 2023 on Famous Class Records — pre-order it here — and they’re headed on tour this month to celebrate. Today we’re honored to share a behind-the-scenes look at UPCHUCK on tour as seen through the lens of curious French filmmaker Jean Pierrot. “Summer ‘23 doc” has that outside-looking-in feeling, really capturing the unique experience of touring in a Dodge Ram on American highways, troubleshooting along the way. In the summer of 2023 I went to the United States to follow new American punk band Upchuck and film their tour adventure. I met many characters in the US Underground music scene as I watched the young musicians travel the country. The youth in America are more alive today than ever before and it is exciting to be immersed in the country and music subculture. It was a pleasure to capture the excitement and energy of the United States of America punk music scene and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did when you see the film.
